FUN & Christian Education

Lakeside Child Care Center wants to insure each child is reaching their developmental and educational milestones. In order to be successful, LCCC has chosen the Creative Curriculum assessments tool, which is based on the latest research on how children learn best. It has been shown through experimental and quasi-experimental studies to improve classroom quality and promote the school readiness of preschool children.

Programs

The Center offers separate services for infants, toddlers, 2 year olds, 3 year olds, and pre-schoolers. Before and After-school programs are offered for children through 5th grade. A summer camp program and associated activities are available during summer break.

LCCC has also chosen the “A Beka” curriculum, which has been developed over the past 50 years in actual classroom use at the Pensacola Christian Academy. The A Beka program reflects a sensible, practical approach to child development that includes age-appropriate Christian values. More information on A Beka is available at http://www.abeka.com/.
